National Rental Affordability Scheme - Specialised Loans for Property Investors from Zobel Finance.
The National Rental Affordability Scheme was put in place by the Federal Govt to help increase the supply of new rental housing and to help improve the affordability of renting.
This scheme is targeted at Property Investorsand can greatly reduce the amount of negative gearing on a property and in some cases even produce positive cash flow.
In order to be eligible for this scheme Property Investors are required to;
- Build a Brand New Property
- Have a rental contract for at least 10years
- Build properties that range in price from $200,000 - $450,000
Investors can sell their properties at any time and/or withdraw from the scheme. This is a Tax Incentive and not a Tax deduction so any financial benefits for the investor are tax free.
